Delivery Information

DELIVERY GUIDELINES 

Orders placed with MetroMum are dispatched within 24 hours or next business day following receipt of your order confirmation. We will notify you on the next business day if there are any problems or delays in delivery.

FREE SHIPPING OVER  $100 OFFER

We appreciate your custom and are pleased to offer you FREE Standard Shipping with any orders over $100 within Australia. This free shipping offer is also not available to customers in rural and remote areas (including NT).

Furniture and Large Bulky items are excluded from this offer due to their size. If an item is excluded from our free shipping offer a note will appear in the product description advising you that it is excluded. Part of or no shipping fee may be charged at the time of placing your order.

Once your order is received a customer service member will contact you to advise the correct shipping fee to deliver the item to your location. The balance of the shipping fee will be payable prior to dispatching your order.

Freight Carrier

We will dispatch your order via the most cost efficient freight service to your area.

Upon dispatch a shipping connote will be sent to you via email so that you may track the progress of your order. If you require any assistance in tracking your parcel please contact us.

Carriers Used by MetroMum

 Australia Post Eparcel - delivers your parcel direct to your door.  If you are not in attendance a notice will be left at your door and your item taken to your nearest local post office for your collection. Please collect  your item within 7 days. After this time your article will be returned to MetroMum and a redelivery fee will be payable.

Fastway - delivers your parcel direct to your door.  If you are not in attendance a calling card will be left at your door. Please contact Fastway to arrange a suitable day for redelivery. If Fastway are not contacted by you within 5 days, your parcel will be returned to MetroMum.  A redelivery fee will be payable if your article is returned to us

No deliveries are made on weekends or public holidays.

Furniture and Bulky Items

We use a number of carriers to deliver furniture and bulky items within Australia. The most cost efficient freight service to your area will be utilised.

The cost of shipping furniture and certain bulky items is not calculated at checkout, this is indicated in the product description of that item. For furniture and large items we will contact you after your order is placed to advise you of the delivery fee payable. Payment of this delivery fee is required prior to dispatch of your items. You may cancel your order if you elect not to pay this fee or collect the items from our warehouse

Please contact our office at any time to request a delivery quote for any bulky items or furniture available at MetroMum.

Your estimated delivery time for furniture will be advised when your delivery quote is provided.

Furniture Pick-Up

You may collect furniture from our warehouse in Moorebank NSW by prior arrangement, no delivery fee is payable. However, certain brands are not available for pick up; this will be advised to you at the time of your order.

Once you are notified that your furniture items are ready for dispatch you must collect them within 7 days or a holding fee may apply. Please contact us for further information.

International Deliveries

We deliver worldwide with the exception of some furniture brands. All postage prices quoted during checkout are regular Air Mail only.

For services which provide tracking or insurance please email us at contact@metromum.com.au to obtain a quote.

If your country is not listed at the checkout please email us with your order and we will confirm the shipping fee to your location. If you choose not to insure your goods, they will not be able to be tracked in transit and the risk of loss and/or damage passes to you upon our delivery of your order to Australia Post or an alternative freight carrier to your country.
 

Estimated Delivery Time

You may elect standard or express shipping for your order at the time of purchase. The estimated delivery time and cost will be displayed during checkout for your consideration. Once you have elected your shipping method this cannot be changed once your order has been dispatched.

Return of Goods

We accept the return of good being exchanged in accordance with our returns policy. The cost of postage/shipping of products returned for exchange/refund is not refundable. Goods are returned at your own cost and risk.

We also reserve the right to refuse to provide you with a refund or exchange if the product is not received in its original packaging, undamaged and unused.
